Australian pop-surrealist Ben Frost explores the dangers of modern living in his first solo New York exhibition.
Don’t Try This At Home explores our relationship with consumerism and how we identify with the characters, products and sales pitches that we are constantly immersed in and ultimately controlled by. By subverting mainstream iconography from the advertising, entertainment and political spectrum he creates a visual and conceptual framework that is both confrontational and controversial.
